He Chose Steak Over My Life

At her own engagement party, Margot West hears what no one else can: the foundation of the restaurant cracking. In her last life, she warned Dominic Blackwood and pulled him from the room, and Daisy Miller died beneath the falling ceiling. Months later, on what should have been their honeymoon, Dominic blamed Margot for Daisy's death and drove her off a cliff with stones, though she was three months pregnant with his child.

Now she has woken back in that same restaurant, and Dominic is again refusing to leave until Daisy finishes her Beef Wellington. This time Margot stays seated, records his orders, and lets the ceiling fall. When Daisy is cut and Dominic carries her out, he leaves Margot behind in the wreckage, then has her dragged to the hospital and strikes her for not warning anyone.

Margot has come back alone, and she intends to use everything she knows about Dominic and Blackwood Industries against him.
