Love Made Its Case

Colton is dead, killed in his own home by Marvin Douglas, the man his wife once loved. Yet Evelyn Charlton, one of the world's top defense attorneys, stands in court to secure Marvin's acquittal, insisting the whole attack was a stunt Colton staged to win her attention. She even appears at his funeral, ordering him to stop pretending and apologize to Marvin.

Now a ghost, Colton watches Evelyn welcome Marvin into the home they shared, cooking for him and introducing him at her firm, where rules she once enforced against Colton no longer apply. When Colton's mother confronts Evelyn outside the firm, demanding her son back, Evelyn threatens to call the police. Colton can only watch, his hands passing through everyone he tries to reach.

Seven years of marriage, and the woman he loved believes Marvin's word over his own.
