Story

The story

Three years ago, Leslie gave a shabby stranger named Jameson Hall a simple bun; he pushed her wheelchair and followed her home. Now she has returned from treatment abroad, and Jameson has become a famous singer, his hit single “Waiting for You” written for the girl he loves. Watching his concert, she feels like one dim star among countless neon lights.

A top actress publicly posts “Finally found you” and tags Jameson, and the internet buzzes with rumors of a new romance. Leslie, back in her wheelchair and living near the training grounds, cannot look away. Her therapist Conner Knight warns her, and her coach Howard urges her to take her time. Yet Jameson’s own comment insists he is waiting for her, not some random flower, and his fans rally behind him.

Caught between fear that he has moved on and fear that he is still waiting because of her, Leslie must face the promise he kept and the feelings she never expected him to remember.
