He Destroyed Me for His Step-Sister, So I Married Into Old Money

Beryl Summers has spent three years building a career as an actress, sacrificing everything for Abraham Simmons, the man she loves. But the night she is crowned Pure Jade Maiden, her intimate photos flood social media, and she overhears Abraham boasting that he leaked them himself to clear the way for Marina Mason's new film.

When Beryl confronts him, Abraham warns that if she cannot make Marina forgive her, he will make sure she never recovers. On set, Marina nearly drowns her and arranges a humiliating love scene, all with Abraham's blessing. Beryl pays the penalty with a black card and walks away, then agrees to the arranged marriage her family has set for next week.

Abraham follows her home, insisting Marina saved his life and that Beryl deserved punishment. Beryl asks him what kind of person he truly believes she is, and why he trusts Marina's every word without giving her a single ounce of trust.
