Story

The story

Summoned home from her dungeon, Sylvia learns she is the true heiress of the Swans. Her birth parents greet her with indifference, house her in a storage room, and dote instead on Anna, the fake heiress who shoves her down and warns her away. At a banquet, her fiancé Gerard splashes wine on her and fawns over Anna before her eyes.

When Anna is chosen for Call of the Sea, a horror scenario, the family binds Sylvia to enter alongside her, promising Anna she will be kept safe while Sylvia dies in her place. Waking on a damp shore, Sylvia is blamed for the scenario and threatened by strangers and kin alike. Yet this is her dungeon, its horrors long lectured by her, and the altered scenario holds surprises she alone anticipates.

Led toward Sea Village, Sylvia is seized by Octopus Face and dragged before the village chief, who greets the visitors with a kind smile and a promise of a lovely ten-day stay.
