Story

The story

For fifteen years, Ava and her husband Trevor built an empire together, choosing a child-free life. Then an anonymous photo reveals Trevor walking into a maternity ward. A private investigator lays bare the truth: four years ago he began an affair with a recent college graduate, three years ago she bore his son, and now she carries twins. His family had conspired to hide it all.

Divorce would only hand the other woman's children the fortune Ava bled for. So she resolves on bankruptcy instead, determined to leave them nothing. But moving assets takes time, and Trevor, sensing her coldness, has begun to ask questions. As she plays for time, she must decide how far she will go to punish the man who betrayed her.

Betrayal deserves punishment, but she refuses to destroy herself in the process.
