Cash In and Cut Me Loose

Lester Esposito has spent five years building clients and winning deals for his wife's law firm, Lockhart Lawfirm, only to be fired the moment he steps away from his desk. When he learns that the credit for his biggest deal has gone to Andrew Sutton, a rookie intern, and that Cassandra Lockhart used the profits to buy Andrew a car, Lester sends proof of her fund-siphoning to the police.

Cassandra retaliates by accusing Lester of stealing trade secrets and has him arrested at the airport. She demands he hand over the client networks he built and drop the divorce, or she will spread word that he sells client data. Lester refuses, and after forty-eight hours in a holding cell, he is released.

Now Lester must decide how far he will go to protect the clients who are loyal to him, and what he is willing to lose to cut himself loose from a marriage that has already turned against him.
