Story

The story

Anya dies in a car accident on her way back for Dorian's birthday, and her soul drifts above, unseen. She watches him bring his first love, Celeste, into the home they shared, tending her with a tenderness he once reserved for Anya alone.

When Celeste asks about Anya, Dorian says only that she went on a business trip. He still does not know Anya is dead. Bound to the house, unable to leave his side, Anya can only watch as Celeste confesses she still loves him and asks what Anya means to him.

Dorian answers that he has a girlfriend, yet his silence and his restless smoking betray something more. Then his phone lights up with the last message Anya ever sent him.
