Story

The story

Five years after Isabella Kingston's death, her family comes to the mountains seeking her blood for Scarlett Kingston, who has been in a car accident. When the gravekeeper tells them she is dead, Nathaniel Blackwood sneers, accusing her of hiding to avoid helping Scarlett and of wanting to give her son Jimmy to Scarlett. They dig up her grave, scatter her ashes, and wait three days and nights for her to appear.

When she still does not show up, they bring her to trial for being inherently vicious. Her mother accuses her of throwing hot soup on her; her father claims she had a chaotic private life and a mental illness; Nathaniel accuses her of drugging him and causing his wife to have a miscarriage. Three thousand charges are listed, and the crowd curses her.

The presiding judge declares that the defendant has no vital signs, but her memories can be extracted. On the screen, her weak face appears, saying: "Today is the first day I was diagnosed with leukemia."

Opening excerpt

Nathaniel Blackwood and his parents came to the mountains and asked me to donate blood.

The gravekeeper pointed at the grave and sighed: "Ms. Kingston is dead."

Nathaniel sneered when he heard this.

"Is it Isabella Kingston who made you lie again? Don't you just want to give Jimmy to Scarlett?"

"It's been five years, isn't it enough?"

"She didn't even think about it. If people knew that Jimmy's mother was a mistress, how would Jimmy face people?"

"Sure enough, Born Wicked. Selfish and vicious."
