Story
The story
At her son's one-month celebration, Luna Sterling's sister Laura arrives covered in blood, accusing her of murdering their parents and trying to kill her. Luna's husband Joey tears up a DNA report, demands a divorce, sends their son to an orphanage, and has her committed to a private mental institution with her four older brothers' blessing.
For a year, Luna endures extreme treatments, cruelty at the hands of wealthy young men, and the loss of five pregnancies. She is released only when Joey and Laura's wedding is announced, her mind broken, clutching a pillow as if it were her baby.
Outside, Joey, her brothers, and a swarm of reporters await. A livestream begins, and once it reaches a million viewers, the family's public trial of Luna will start.

At my son’s one-month celebration, my sister Laura burst in, covered in blood. She collapsed to her knees before me, thrusting a DNA test into my hands as she slammed her head against the floor.
“Luna, I promised I’d keep your secret, that I’d protect you and your lover,” she wailed. “But why did you try to kill me? Why did you kill Mom and Dad? Do I have to die for you to finally feel safe?”
