Story

The story

Celia's first formal meeting with her boyfriend Charles Lisbon's family turns into a disaster when his cousin Selene Hecks, who moved into Charles' home after her divorce with her five-year-old son Georgie Morrison, lets the boy drench Celia's dress with a drink and refuses to make him apologize.

When Charles finally demands an apology, Selene's family closes ranks, and Celia's parents storm out, threatening to end the decade-long relationship. Back home, Celia begins to see that Selene, who depends on Charles' family for money, may see her as a threat to that support.

Then Selene posts old photos of Celia in the family group chat and accuses her of being another man's mistress, revealing that she has been watching Celia for a long time.
