The Class Reunion Is the Start of My Revenge

At a class reunion at the Royal Hotel, Kyle is mocked by his former classmates, who still see him as the poor, desperate fool from school. Ethan Hunter, the wealthy heir who once framed him, announces his engagement to Sophie Smith, the girl from the mountains whose betrayal led to Kyle's expulsion and his father's death. As the insults pile up and Ethan offers him a pity job, Kyle stays calm, knowing the Hunter family will soon go bankrupt.

Kyle has returned for one reason: revenge. He remembers the scholarship boy he once was, the father who raised him alone, and the deathbed question he can never forget. When a security guard hands him the keys to his washed electric bicycle, the room erupts in laughter, but Kyle's cold resolve only hardens.

As the reunion begins in earnest, the hotel manager enters Room 888, and Kyle quietly steps out of the shadows.
