My CEO Ex-Wife Killed for Love,Now She Wants Me Back

Bob Swanson has learned, once more, that the child in his wife Greta's belly belongs to her and her lover, Noel. This time he does not rage or scheme; he quietly sees her through the pregnancy and the birth, becoming the laughingstock of high society. Greta thanks him tenderly, assuring him Noel only wants to be a father and that Bob remains the one she loves most. Everyone believes he has simply surrendered.

Only Bob knows the truth: the baby exists because Grandma Evelyn Jenner called in a life-debt he owed her and ordered him to protect it. When Greta hands him the birth certificate bearing the name John Swanson—the name he had chosen for his own lost son—he refuses to be listed as the father. Then Noel appears, and Greta abandons her newborn and her own wounds to shield him from Evelyn's cane.

Evelyn has already tricked Greta into signing the divorce papers, and Bob returns to his old apartment to wait out her postpartum confinement. But the scandal spreads, the Jenner Group's stock falls, and Greta blames him for the ruin.
