After Being Abandoned by Me, He Returned For Revenge

Once, June Smith was a wealthy young woman who toyed with the feelings of a poor boy, Dick Morris, then cast him aside. Years later, her family has fallen, and she scrapes together money for her mother's medical care by begging for acting roles. Dick, now a powerful, successful man in a suit, finds her again in a nightclub and makes his contempt clear, ordering her to wash up and wait for him that night.

Taken to Rose Manor, June faces his cold revenge. He threatens her mother's life, shows her the scar he carries from the year she left him, and tells her she will spend her whole life repaying what she owes. A young star, Ella Windy, claims Dick as her boyfriend and warns June away. June's mother, broken and mentally ill, veers between cruelty and tenderness, while June endures it all, hardened and unable to reclaim her old innocence.

Trapped between a man who hates her and a past she cannot escape, June can only ask for the freedom he refuses to give.
