Story

The story

After three years in prison for Adam's company, Rachel is handed a one-dollar bonus check at the opening ceremony, while the woman beside her, Lily, receives a million. That night Lily posts her check online, and Adam tells Rachel to keep their marriage secret and call him boss in public.

At the office, Adam gives the department manager post he once promised Rachel to Lily, then hands Rachel a secret marriage agreement and moves her out of the master bedroom. Lily's posts and Adam's coldness mount, until Rachel calls his arch-rival and offers her loyalty, then has a lawyer draft a divorce agreement.

When Adam signs without reading and orders her to a business dinner to block drinks for Lily, Rachel watches the couple before her and feels oddly relieved.
