Story

The story

When Alexa's uncle Jimmy Lawson and his family visit after hearing she bought a house, his son Tyler's girlfriend Kaylee Darnell demands a $30,000 wedding gift and then Alexa's house itself. Alexa refuses, but Jimmy produces a DNA test claiming she is his biological daughter, so the house should go to Tyler instead.

Kaylee then takes Alexa's treasured jade bracelet, a final gift from her late boyfriend, and smashes it. Alexa threatens prison, but Kaylee fakes a pregnancy emergency, and Jimmy slaps Alexa. At the hospital, Tyler threatens to harass Alexa's parents unless she pays, and Kaylee demands the house as compensation.

Alexa has a hidden camera recording everything, and she refuses to give in to their demands.

I refused, but then my uncle pulled out a DNA test, claiming I was actually his biological daughter, so the house must go to my cousin and not be given to an outsider.
