Since You Don’t Love Me, Don’t Waste My Time

On the couple's wedding anniversary, a husband waits below his wife's office to surprise her, only to watch her leave with another man and check into a hotel. He follows, sees them kiss, and returns to the car where the flowers, cake and platinum bag he had bought for her sit untouched. At home, Miley Walter greets him warmly, hands him his usual glass of milk, and asks if he remembers the date. He says he does not.

Her phone keeps lighting up with a man's name, and she talks for an hour behind a closed door. He learns that Marshall Olson, her first love, has returned as a manager at the company where he once worked in secret and quietly helped her rise. The next morning she asks him to stay out all day so a colleague can visit; when he comes home, she tells the man at the door he is only a coffee delivery.

Inside, the photos of their travels are gone, his belongings are packed away, and no trace of him remains. After five years of marriage, he finally sees what she has chosen.
