Time Goes On

Connor spends a night packing for his wife Stella, who claims she must quarantine for seven days after returning from a dengue-risk zone. At the quarantine hotel, the front desk tells him Stella never registered. Across the street, he watches her step from a black Maybach and kiss Finn, the boy she once raised and swore she had sent abroad forever.

Stella’s assistant Emma Benson reveals the truth: Stella never traveled, and for three years her business trips were visits to Finn, who returned seven days ago. Stella texts Connor about a plush hotel bed and tells him to wait for her to come home. At home, searching for their marriage certificate, Connor finds a velvet box of photos of Finn and a condom wrapper, recalling the night Finn drugged Stella and the crash that followed.

Now Stella tells Finn she will never send him away again, while Connor sits alone with a wedding photo and a message that says love.
