The Wedding Before Mine

Three months before her wedding, Clara's fiancé Mike posts his marriage certificate beside a photo of her stepsister Della, pregnant with his child. Her mother and Della defend him, and Mike insists he is only "borrowing" himself for a year so the baby can have a proper name. Humiliated, Clara deletes every trace of him and posts that she needs a groom.

Amid the mocking comments, Liam, a childhood friend who once saved his candy for her, asks to be her groom. He confesses years of love, sends a contract transferring all his assets to her, and promises to return in two weeks to marry her. Clara accepts, thinking of her grandmother's dying wish to see her married.

At home, her mother demands the sapphire necklace her father left her for Della. When Della fakes a fall on the stairs, Mike slaps Clara's hand away, breaking it, and demands she apologize.
