Story
The story
Cole Grady is the top student at Stanton Prep, a sure bet for valedictorian and already accepted early into Princeton's Physics Department. So when he stands up in the middle of the college entrance exam, waves a stack of cheat sheets over his head and confesses, the whole hall freezes. The sheets hold final answers for tomorrow's math and science papers, not today's English test. Investigators and two cops haul him out, warning that intentional cheating could void his scores and land him up to three years in prison.
Opening excerpt
One of the proctors rushed over, snatched my test and declared my exam invalid on the spot. But when they took a closer look at the cheat sheet, they froze. The answers weren’t for today’s test— they were for the one scheduled for tomorrow.
That’s when chaos broke loose.
They called in an investigation team and the next thing I knew, two cops were escorting me out of the exam hall like I was some kind of criminal. If they found me guilty of cheating, I’d be looking at up to three years behind bars.
