My Fiancée Canceled Our Wedding For Her True Love

A week before the wedding, Lucas learns the hotel has canceled his reception. The booking app confirms it, and the coordinator says a Ms. Vance came in person three days ago to cancel and sign the paperwork. But three days ago, Chloe Vance was still choosing invitation designs with him.

When Chloe comes home with cinnamon rolls, Lucas asks what she is hiding. She calls the wedding a waste of money and suggests eloping instead, but he presses her: she has already told her mother, and she refuses to hand over her phone. She shoves him, then walks out, leaving him on the floor.

He calls his mother, who insists she and his father are coming over. Alone in the apartment, Lucas walks into the bedroom.
