My parents just hit the jackpot for 300 million dollars, and my husband wants a divorce!

After three months away at a company training program, a wife returns home expecting a promotion and a reunion with her husband, Jake. Instead, the locks are changed, a stranger answers the door, and she learns the house was sold without her knowledge. Jake's phone goes unanswered, and his parents, Mark and Brenda, have vanished from their old neighborhood, which is being torn down for redevelopment.

A friend of Jake's reveals the truth: his parents collected twenty million dollars from the redevelopment, Jake sold the house for six hundred thousand, and the whole family has gone abroad, leaving her behind. She checks into a motel, alone and betrayed, and begins searching for a way to find them.

What they do not know is that her own parents have just won three hundred million dollars in the lottery, and she is no longer afraid.
