New Life, New Wife

Percy Spencer has been reborn on the day of the banquet where he must choose his bride-to-be. In his previous life he chose Kara Jennings, who pushed his grandmother to her death, seized the Spencer estate with her six sisters, and locked him in a basement to be tortured until he died. Now, staring at the seven Jennings sisters paraded before him, Percy refuses to repeat that fate. He tells his grandmother he will marry Michelle Cooper, the powerful but sickly and infertile head of Cooper Corporations.

His grandmother objects, wanting a healthy wife to rebuild the dwindling Spencer line, but Percy argues that an alliance with the Coopers will raise their influence and let him build his own empire. Oscar Warner overhears and carries the news to the sisters, who ambush Percy and mock his choice. When they defend Oscar and accuse Percy of bullying him, Percy slaps Oscar and walks away, while Kara vows to humiliate him when he comes crawling back.
