Story

The story

Natalie Ashford is shocked when her younger sister, Sophia Ashford, abandons a newborn at the family doorstep to protect her reputation before marrying into a wealthy family. Their parents, Owen and Julia Ashford, urge Natalie to adopt the baby, Tom Ashford, and she reluctantly agrees. Raising Tom costs Natalie her job and years of struggle, until the day he is accepted into a top university and Sophia returns, accusing Natalie of stealing her child and reclaiming him as her own.

Betrayed and cast out by her parents, Natalie dies while trying to prove her innocence, then wakes on the very day the baby was abandoned. This time she calls the police at once, refusing to take the child in. When Sophia accuses her of abandoning the baby, Natalie demands the surveillance footage, and her sister's panic betrays her.

As the neighbors watch and the police close in, Natalie stands her ground against the family that once destroyed her, determined to rewrite her fate.
