Chapter 2The Surgeon's Secret

Coming out of the hospital after bandaging, I dug out the number of my male best friend, Alex.

We are high school classmates, relationship always good.

Since he went abroad for further studies in college, learned I dated a boyfriend, we rarely contacted.

On the wedding day, he sent a text message to bless me.

"Happy Wedding!"

After marriage, to prevent Lucas from overthinking, we lost contact.

In a flash ten years passed.

Staring at the number, I hesitated for a long time, still couldn't help dialing out.

"Sarah, is that you?"

Familiar voice came from the handset, I felt surprised, softly responded Hmm.

Didn't expect, after so long, he still kept my number.

Seeing me迟迟 not speaking, he laughed awkwardly twice.

"Why thought of finding me, must have encountered some trouble."

He is still the same as usual, likes to joke, ease the atmosphere.

"I... I want you to help me a favor!"

I hesitated for a long time, finally summoned up courage to say it out.

"Okay! Where are you now, I go find you, I returned to Boston."

"I'm not in Boston, I'm in Seattle."

"Seattle"

He didn't ask much, just said: "Send me a location, I go find you now."

Before I could speak, he hung up the phone.

Two hours later, a familiar figure appeared in the shop, it's Alex.

Seeing me he scratched his head embarrassedly instead.

"Hearing your voice was a bit excited."

"Haven't seen for so long, thought of inviting you to dinner, so ran over."

Seeing his shy appearance, I couldn't help laughing.

Later I learned, the reason he was so fast, was taking a private jet.

We exchanged pleasantries briefly, then stated my request.

After hearing, he stood up from the chair swish.

"This beast, if in front of me, I must kill him."

Seeing him rolling up sleeves, a look ready to fight, I burst out laughing.

He patted his chest, vowing solemnly.

"This divorce lawsuit, I help you fight!"
