My Jerk Husband Who Begged for Forgiveness, Yet Held Another in His Arms

In the seventh year of her marriage to Hector Smith, Charleen Smith asks for a divorce. Hector, who once called her his only beloved, now openly keeps his secretary, Yael Larson, and buys her a riverside apartment. At a client reception, Charleen toasts the couple, then leaves clutching her stomach as Yael laughs behind her.

After seven years of never interfering, Charleen finally warns Hector to rein himself in, but he brushes her off with money and a promise of a weekend visit. When she accidentally spills coffee on Yael, Hector pushes her aside and demands she apologize. Then a hospital visit brings worse news: Zack Cooper, her childhood friend and doctor, tells her a malignant tumor has been found.

With perhaps half a year left, Charleen must decide how to spend the days she has counted down, and what to do about the husband who no longer sees her.
