Story
The story
On her thirtieth wedding anniversary, Tiffany is struck by a car while grocery shopping. Bandaged and bleeding, she calls her husband Bryce Bongiovi again and again, but his phone stays off. She hurries home to cook, only to find wedding invitations on the coffee table and, in her son Flynn's jacket, a photo of Bryce with her younger sister Brittany.
Thirty years ago Tiffany and Bryce married in poverty, skipping the ceremony she kept asking for. Now she learns the invitations are for Bryce and Brittany, and that her husband and son went to the airport to collect her sister that very morning. To her family she is only a servant.
Something in Tiffany goes cold. She calls Barron Guerrero, the lawyer who has loved her for over ten years, and asks for a divorce and the sale of her marital house.
