Story

The story

Rachel has just given birth, yet she insists on rushing to the gym, ignoring her husband's worries about her recovery. He happens to have business with the gym owner, Guillermo, so he stops by to check on her — and through the glass he sees her in the arms of a young trainer named Scott, the two of them laughing and kissing as if no one else exists.

Opening excerpt

"I ruined my body giving you a child, and you won't even let me go to the gym?"

Ignoring my attempts to stop her, Rachel slammed the door and left.

I was only worried about her being weak after just giving birth.

I knew Rachel was a fitness fanatic, but I couldn't just let her do whatever she wanted right after delivery.

As it happened, I had business to discuss with the gym owner, so I could drop by and check on her.
