The snake's tail wagged faster.

Its tongue flicked rapidly.

I got scared and waved my hand, accidentally flinging it onto the floor.

A barrage of subtitles appeared before my eyes.

They all seemed to mean the same thing.

Who is this "he"?

The snake?

The snake slithered up from the floor, its black eyes staring at me for a few seconds like it wanted to eat me.

Then it flicked its tail and crawled to the other side of the room, far away from me.

Like it was mad.

Worried I might have broken it, I decided to ask Julian for a glass tank for it to sleep in.

I knocked on his door.

The door was unusually closed, and no one answered.

Julian never closed his door.

He even left it a crack open. Every time I walked by, I'd accidentally see him changing, and he'd scoff and call me a "pervert" or "shameless."
