Story
The story
When the Blood Moon fell, the world changed and vampires rose to rule. Mason survived as one of the rare pure-blooded humans, chosen by Queen Inferna as her closest blood slave, while his friend Julian was passed between vampire clans and tortured. In the end, Julian pushed Mason from a high-rise, and both fell to their deaths.
Now Mason wakes on the day the vampires divide their spoils, and Julian, reborn too, rushes to offer himself to Queen Inferna. Mason lets him take that "honor" and instead asks to serve Queen Aquila's vice-commander, Shadow, a wandering powerhouse with purple-gold patterns on her face. This time, Mason means to carve out his own path of survival.
