My Police Husband

Ella Jones is drunk when she is brought into an interrogation room, where the officer questioning her is Levi, the husband she divorced a month ago. He asks for her name, age and address, and when she tells him her address changed the day she got divorced, she grabs his face and demands to know why he doesn't remember their divorce. Levi says nothing, orders his assistant to lock her up until she sobers, and leaves her in the confinement room for six hours.

When Levi returns, he threatens to withhold bail unless she calls him honey and agrees to come home. In his Cadillac, Ella insists the marriage was only for his grandfather's sake and that she already took a 200,000 breakup fee from his mother. Levi stops the car, demanding a proper reason for the divorce. Ella accuses him of lying about a secret case in Manvelle while vacationing with Layla Moore, and declares she never loved him.

Ella moves out with the money, but memories of how she and Levi met at a university basketball match keep her awake.
