Cheated on While Pregnant with His Child

For ten years, Gary Hodge has loved Mary Guzman with a devotion everyone can see. He chased her after she once took a knife meant for him, swore never to betray her, and even built a skyscraper in her name. When she becomes pregnant, he attends every prenatal check-up and cooks every dish she loves.

Then, three months into her pregnancy, Mary finds freshly opened condoms in his car. Saying nothing, she arranges an abortion, cancels her identity, and prepares to vanish from his world entirely. Gary, unaware, keeps swearing his love and promising her a tenth-anniversary gift.

One night he leaves for a supposed work emergency. Mary follows him to a high-end complex, where Selena Green—the woman he once sent abroad after she confessed to him—waits in the cold.
