Chapter 4The Billionaire's Secret Wife

Julian strode forward, holding a little baby in his arms.

The child wasn't old, but his speech was exceptionally clear, shouting for his mother.

"Daddy, where's Mommy? Didn't you say Mommy would be here today? Why haven't we seen her yet?"

With that, he fussed to get down from the man's arms.

The delicately carved little doll landed on the ground, instantly attracting the attention of everyone in the hall. The bodyguards behind him followed closely, afraid he might fall.

Sophia stepped forward at this time, holding a tray of small cakes.

"Auntie loves little babies the most. Come here to Auntie. Want a cupcake?"

Sophia smiled attentively. Who knew the child would frown and knock the tray out of her hand.

"Go away, your smile looks like a bad person's. My mommy said not to eat things from strangers. And you don't look like a good person. Stay away from me; I want to find my mommy!"

"My mommy said she's coming to your wedding today. You're the bride, right? Have you seen a gentle and beautiful woman?"

Sophia's hand holding the tray froze in mid-air. humiliated and mocked by a child, her face turned pale. But because of Julian, she dared not flare up.

"Your mommy didn't come. Everyone is here today; see if your mommy is among them?"

As soon as these words came out, the whole venue started whispering.

"What! Julian's wife came this time too? Hidden for three years, is she finally coming out?"

"Who is Julian's wife exactly? There are so many people here, but I don't feel like any of them are her! No one here has the temperament to match Julian!"

"Isla just made a big scene impersonating his wife. Unexpectedly, the real one was present at the time. She must have looked at Isla like a joke. How embarrassing!"

Seeing Julian arrive, Lucas greeted him affectionately.

"I had unfinished business abroad and came back late. She returned three days early. You should have seen her. She said she would come to find you in advance. Didn't you meet?"

Sophia stepped forward again, smiling gently.

"Good baby, your mommy probably got stuck in traffic and will be here soon. But we have a bad woman impersonating your mommy here. Do you want to see her?"

A trace of hesitation flashed across my son's face. Sophia smiled.

"This person is just too hateful. Not only did she impersonate your mommy, but she also forged the engagement ring your daddy gave your mommy, using the cheapest materials. She even made a scene at my wedding, ruining a happy event. But don't worry, Auntie has already punished this bad woman for you and vented your mommy's anger!"

Guests wanting to cling to Julian also chimed in:

"Yes, Mr. Sterling. You don't know how arrogant this woman was. Even knowing you were coming soon, she still claimed to be your wife, holding a broken ring. Did she really think no one here knows quality?"

Lucas also stepped forward.

"Brother, don't worry. This person has been severely punished by me. Her fingers were stepped on and broken, and the ring was thrown away by me. No one can impersonate my sister-in-law, rest assured!"
