Stella had been getting more and more attached to Lena lately.

I was happy about this, as it would be too tiring if both children were always clinging to me.

My younger son, Sunny, wasn't even six months old yet and still needed his mother.

With Lena taking care of Stella, I felt much more relaxed.

One day when Ryan came home from work, Stella dragged him to play Monopoly. Stella, Lena, and Ryan were all having a great time.

"Daddy, Stella is going to win!" Stella said proudly to Ryan, holding her cards.

Ryan affectionately patted Stella's head and said, "Stella, you're amazing!"

Lena was smiling beside them, her eyes curved into crescents. "Yes, our Stella is the best!"

Seeing Stella so happy, I went over to join them. "Stella, mommy's coming to play with you too."

But I wasn't very good at the game and was soon dismissed by Stella. "Mommy, you don't know how to play. Stella will just play with daddy and Aunt Lena."

Being rejected by my daughter made me feel a bit hurt, but I didn't stay to play with them.

"Aunt Lena, this time Stella wants to team up with you! Because you're better than daddy," Stella said.

Stella loved playing games with Lena because Lena was good at these little games and had the patience to play with her.

Hearing Stella's innocent words, Ryan teased, "I see, now Aunt Lena is more important to Stella than daddy. You can just play with Aunt Lena from now on."

Stella let out a soft "hmph" and went to hold Lena's arm. "I like Aunt Lena the most."

Seeing Stella and Lena's close relationship made me feel a bit sour.

Moreover, the three of them sitting together looked like a family, and I felt like I was being excluded.

But then I thought it was funny. Stella was just a child, she liked whoever played with her. Why should I be jealous of Lena, a nanny?

I must be overthinking things after just giving birth.

That night, Stella once again clung to Lena, wanting Lena to sleep with her. I readily agreed.

After all, it would be too tiring to accompany Stella to sleep and also take care of Sunny. I felt at ease with Lena sleeping with Stella.

Besides, Ryan and I hadn't had time alone for a long time. I wanted to spend some quality time with Ryan tonight.

"Honey, we haven't had a chance to talk, just the two of us, for a long time," I said, hugging Ryan and giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Darling, you've been working so hard taking care of two children by yourself. It's good that Lena is helping us with Stella now, so we can have some time together," Ryan said, kissing me on the lips. His hands started wandering over my body. "Honey, it's been a long time since we've been intimate."

I eagerly cooperated with Ryan, reaching out to unbutton his collar.

Ryan lifted my skirt, but his wandering hands suddenly froze.

"Honey, your stomach hasn't recovered yet?" Ryan said calmly, but I could see a hint of disgust in his eyes.

I looked down at my stomach, which was full of stretch marks and scars from the C-section and weight gain. It could be described as a mess of valleys and ridges.

No wonder Ryan was disgusted. Even I found this stomach repulsive.
