That night, I received a call from Amanda.

She first apologized to me, saying that she misunderstood what I meant. She then mentioned that she wanted to buy some warm clothes for my brother, David Wilson, tomorrow, so that he could wear them when winter came. She asked me to accompany her.

Since I didn't have anything to do the next day, I agreed. Incidentally, I wanted to tell her about the requirements for my future husband so that she wouldn't find any more unsuitable candidates for me.

At least, she could find someone normal.

As for now, she said she came to buy clothes for her husband. Could my mom not understand what she meant?

My mother took money out of her pocket and said, "Here you are. It's getting cold. You buy Grace and you some clothes."

"Nope, I have money." Then she took the money from my mom's hand.

Being observant and sensitive, I immediately noticed the dissatisfaction in Amanda's eyes. She probably thought the money was too little.
