Story

The story

At her engagement party, Lidia Lester watches her parents present Pamela as their biological daughter, while Jeffry, her childhood sweetheart of six years, ignores her to carry the fainting Pamela away. When Lidia protests, Jeffry slaps her and leaves with Pamela, and Mr. Lester orders her to apologize. Humiliated before the guests, Lidia flees into the night.

Returning to the new villa, she finds Jeffry and Pamela together in her bedroom, and learns their affair has lasted three years. Heartbroken, she accepts a message from overseas: her biological parents are nobles with tens of billions in assets, and she is their sole heir. She decides to cancel her identity, leave everyone behind, and go abroad to claim her inheritance.

With her engagement shattered and her family's cruelty exposed, Lidia must choose between the man she loved for over a decade and a future she never imagined.

Lidia Lester held the phone in her hand, her eyes fixed on the wedding photo on the bedside table and her tone was light and gentle.

The person on the other end of the phone was extremely happy when she responded, “It will take about half a month. We will meet all your requirements. During this half month, you can take good care of your relationships at home.”

In the dim room, only the bright moonlight shone in, illuminating the world, Lidia agreed and hung up the phone.
