The Victim's Vengeance

In Hollow Creek, a young pregnant wife named Abby lives under the thumb of her husband Cletus and his mother, Mama Mae, who bought her for ten thousand dollars. When an ultrasound at Dr. Evans' clinic reveals she is carrying a boy, Mama Mae is overjoyed, but Abby overhears a chilling plan: once the baby is born, they intend to sell her off to the brothers down the holler and buy Cletus a new wife.

Desperate and trapped, Abby secretly keeps part of the powder Dr. Evans gave her and mixes it into the family's gravy. That night, Mama Mae and Cletus eat and drink until they pass out cold. Seeing her chance, Abby slips out of the cabin and heads for the rickety wooden bridge that connects Hollow Creek to the outside world.

But escape is never simple in a place where everyone knows everyone, and the bridge is only the first step toward a freedom she may not survive to reach.
