His Commandment: A Love That Cannot Be Ignored

For ten years, Lilly devoted herself to Arthur Findley, the prince of Birmingham’s elite circle, and he finally agreed to marry her. But days before the wedding, he vanished to Dungeness with Bella, the first love who had suddenly returned. Lilly followed, and when Bella fell and injured her face, she accused Lilly of pushing her. Arthur believed Bella without question, warned Lilly to pray nothing happened to Bella, then drove away with her, abandoning Lilly in the desert.

A month later, Lilly emerged from Dungeness gaunt and near death. At the rescue station, Arthur showed no concern, mocking her survival, while Bella offered fake forgiveness. When Arthur demanded she take responsibility for their missed wedding date, Lilly calmly agreed, unnerving him. She no longer loves him, and she will not marry him. The Lilly who survived the wasteland made a deal with a demon to get out, and she is no longer the same woman.
