Winning over the Novel's Male Second Lead

After becoming an NPC in a romance novel, the system in the novel tasked me with winning over the novel's male second lead.

He asked me to attend to his needs, and I even massaged his shoulders and legs.

When he craved pizza from across town late at night, I went out to buy it for him.

Just as I was about to reach ninety-nine points in my strategy, the female lead kissed him right in front of me.

At that moment, my progress reset to zero.

The system asked me, "You've failed for the third time. Do you want to continue?"

I felt utterly defeated.

"No, I want to go home," I replied.

In an instant, I saw him suddenly look up, his eyes filled with panic as he stared at me.
