Story
The story
At Rachel's birthday party, her childhood friend and fiancé Lucas arrives with a girl named Lily, declaring her his true love and his future wife. He humiliates Rachel before her family and guests, then leaves with Lily. After the party, Rachel realizes Lily closely resembles a high school classmate Lucas once bullied into paralysis, a boy whose mother was paid off by the Thompson family.
Rachel has Lily investigated and learns her original surname was Fung, and that she has an older brother named Felix Fung, the very boy Lucas disabled. When Mr. Thompson brings Lucas to apologize, Lucas shows no remorse, and Rachel coldly dismisses him, noting she has suitors lined up from here to New York.
A week later, Lily comes looking for Rachel, and the two women face each other with secrets between them.
