The Tow-Away Zone

On her first day at a major bank, a young woman's triumph is shadowed by a boyfriend who sees her new electric car as his personal transport. Matt, her college sweetheart, has landed a job with a long commute and expects her to move into his tiny studio, pay rent, hand-wash his clothes, and drive him everywhere while he saves for a house in his name alone.

When she refuses and ends the relationship, Matt turns a crowded restaurant against her, playing the devoted boyfriend while strangers film and whisper. She walks out, but her father warns that a man who stages public scenes won't let go easily. He is right: Matt appears at her new workplace with flowers, ready to perform again.

She must now decide how far she will go to keep a man who mistakes her success for his entitlement from following her into the life she built.
