Chapter 4The Last Ten Days

Early the next morning, I got up and went downstairs.

The lights in the room were dim. Julian sat on the sofa smoking, his expression unclear.

"Where are the wedding photos on the wall?"

He spoke faintly, stopping me.

The messages on the phone kept jumping and beeping.

It was a message from Bella, smiling brightly holding a bouquet of gold foil roses she just received.

[So tired last night, but after receiving the gift, I can do it again~]

He noticed, still recklessly lighting up the phone.

"Put them away."

I was calm and walked straight past him to the kitchen to pour a glass of water.

He put out the cigarette, smiled, got up, and took out a high-end necklace from Van Cleef & Arpels from his pocket.

Put it around my neck from behind.

"Still angry?"

"Here, an apology gift.

It suits you well."

He lowered his head and whispered in my ear like a snake sticking out its tongue.

"Mia, you will always be Mrs. Reed. No one can replace your position.

Including Bella."

"When I'm tired of playing, let's try to have a child again, how about it?"

I pushed him away coldly, turned around and stroked the charming lipstick mark remaining on his shirt.

Squeezed out a sarcastic smile.

Walked away.
