Chapter 2The Succubus Awakening

Xander didn't live in the dorm often, so he had no snacks.

He rummaged through Julian's desk and found a cup of instant noodles.

"Ramen, want some?"

I sat on the stool, looking up at him, and shook my head.

"I don't eat that."

Xander leaned against the desk, crossing his arms, losing patience.

"Aren't you starving to death?"

I stared at him for a while.

"Eating that is useless."

No good.

I was already starving.

"Useless? Then what do you eat? What does Julian buy you?"

"Salad with... essence."

Xander fell silent for a moment.

"...Kinky."

He shrugged, spinning the ramen cup with one hand, passing by me.

"You don't eat, I eat."

I stood up abruptly, pressed my hands on his shoulders, and pushed him against the locker.

Xander raised an eyebrow, tone surprised.

"Look so cute, but so strong?"

"No, I have to eat first." I looked up at him, swallowing. "Can you let me kiss you?"

"What are you saying?" He seemed to doubt his ears.

Ignoring his shock, I grabbed his collar and looked up to kiss him.

As soon as I touched his lips, I felt much better.

He really was a meal replacement.

But immediately after, I was pushed away.

"What are you doing? You! Aren't you Julian's girlfriend?"

Xander put one hand on my shoulder, the other wiping his lips with his thumb.

The more he thought, the angrier he got. He paused, looking at me hesitantly.

"Are you his girlfriend? You're not a pervert, are you? Wearing a hoodie, sneaking into a boys' dorm, force-kissing handsome guys. My life is ruined by my love for beauty..."

He pulled down my hood and suddenly his eyes widened.

"You are..."

I quickly let go of him, hands covering the goat horns on my head.

My face flushed red with shame and anger.

"You discovered my secret, I have to kill you!"

Xander, being choked by me, turned red, his voice squeezed out.

He struggled to say three words.

"...Pleasant Goat?" (A popular Chinese cartoon character)
