I Worked as a Waiter for My Ex-Girlfriend

Adrian once had money and a future. While studying abroad, he kept a dishwasher named Nora Wilson close, funding her studies and even her mother's surgery, until his family's business collapsed and he bought two plane tickets she never used. Now she is the daughter of a rich family, engaged to Paul Carter, and the cameras at the charity dinner follow her every word.

Adrian stands in the shadows with a tray.
