Graduation Trip Gone Wrong: The Med Swap

During a graduation road trip to the plateau, Noelle is struck by altitude sickness just as dark spots blur her vision. Her life-saving imported medication is gone, swapped for ibuprofen by her fiancé, Zayden Lowry, who has handed the pills to Erica, claiming the frail girl needs them more. When Noelle protests, Zayden and his friend Quincey Jacobson mock her, insisting she is faking her symptoms.

As her breathing fails, Noelle texts her father to send someone to take her home and to end the collaboration between their company and Zayden's. Zayden dismisses it as another empty threat, seizes her spare oxygen canister for Erica, and shoves her into the car's cargo area. Trapped in the thin air, her phone battery nearly dead, Noelle fights to call for help before she suffocates.
