I Heard You Like Doctors

At her high school graduation party, a girl is asked about her ideal boyfriend. Standing near the boy with bright red hair, she says the opposite of what she feels: she prefers quiet, thoughtful men with dark hair and glasses, and a doctor would be even better. Ten years later, she accompanies her widowed best friend Ava to a hospital appointment and bumps into a doctor in a white coat who stares at her.

Ava teases her about the handsome doctor, then mentions Liam, the red-haired boy from school who once planned to confess to her. Messages from an old deskmate reveal that Liam had told the whole class about his plan, and that he never confessed because he believed he was nothing like her stated ideal.

When Ava leaves a lipstick behind, the girl returns to the hospital and finds it with Dr. Chen. He turns around, and she recognises him: Liam, now a doctor with dark hair and rimless glasses.
