His Ending is My New Start

Tia has spent years as a servant in her own home, raising the twin sons she nearly died to bear while her husband Kelvin openly keeps Sylvia Mapple, the daughter of her employer, at his side. On her birthday, the twins help Sylvia lure her into the pool; Kelvin kicks her back into the water, and the boys step on her hand before running to Sylvia and calling her their real mother. Humiliated before the household, Tia agrees to a plan that will bankrupt the Robinsons and the Mapples.

When her father calls to say her mother is dying and needs surgery money, Tia kneels to gather the cash Kelvin throws on the floor, drinks wine for her wages, and is ordered to strip off the dress that turns out to belong to Sylvia. Only a stranger's offer of another dress lets her run to the hospital.

There her father tells her that her mother is gone, and Sylvia arrives on Kelvin's arm, gloating over the nanny who has lost everything.
