The True Luna They Tried To Kill

Orphaned, Vaelith Ashwyn has only the small room and daily meals she has from being the breeder of the Moonridge Pack. Not the life she had envisioned, but it is enough to survive... until a strange accident at the Alpha's mating ceremony leaves her as the Luna's greatest enemy.

Shortly after, Vaelith finds herself pregnant with the alphas child and the Luna decides that the mother and child must not be allowed to live. Betrayed by the pack she faithfully served, Vaelith is hunted through the forest and left for dead.

The feared Rogue King, Rhazien Draven saves her life.

Vaelith finds safety, love, and a family she can call her own, for the first time. Her boy knows no bounds after giving birth to her exceptional son, a rare nine-tailed wolf, but that joy is short lived as her son dies shortly after coming into the world.

Death is not the end, though.

Vaelith is haunted by his child's restless spirit, and starts to seek the truth about his mysterious disease. Each answer brings her to darker secrets, forbidden magic, a betrayal that shatters everything she thought she had rebuilt.

Heartbroken, war looming, Vaelith emerges from a mother of mourning to a ruthless queen who will take matters into her own hands to seek justice. She will have to find her way back to the one place she swore she'd never go back, and stand by the side of the Alpha whose fate was tied to hers long before they knew the truth.

There are some debts that can only be repaid with blood.

And sometimes...

The Moon owes justice to the woman it betrayed.
