Story

The story

At his wedding, Gonzalez recognizes that the veiled bride is not Leah but an impostor. He says nothing and proceeds with the ceremony, because in his previous life he exposed the fake bride, Leah returned to marry him, and he later died at her hands. This time he lets the substitution stand.

When the ring will not fit and the veil is lifted, the guests learn the truth: Leah paid Presley twenty dollars to take her place while she vacations abroad with Michael. Leah's parents, Tobias and Anthony, are publicly shamed, and Gonzalez's parents, Wilson and Kate, end the marriage alliance on the spot.

Gonzalez offers Leah one last chance to answer her mother's call, but the line stays busy. He then declares that he wants to marry Presley instead, while Leah's family is escorted out.
