From Our Marriage Bed to the Divorce Agreement

Seraphina believed she had finally won Ashton Blackwood back. After a year of grand gestures—kneeling outside her apartment, learning to bake her favourite mousse, transferring all his shares to her name—she married him, and he swore he would never let her go. But at a charity gala, Ashton spends one hundred million on a "dinner right" with Vivian, the girl he once swore he was only protecting to repay her late father's sacrifice. When Seraphina confronts him, she finds them together in their own marital bedroom, and Ashton calmly tells her to be understanding.

Tired of the same excuses she heard a year ago, Seraphina takes out a divorce agreement. Ashton is certain she will swallow her pride and endure it again, but she tells him she no longer wants him. Driving away from the gala, she returns to the lake where they first fell in love, then to an empty villa still dressed in wedding decorations. The next morning, her best friend Lily calls with news that Ashton and Vivian are trending.
